Our Story

No Fltr is a pop duo that Hunter and I started in 2021. We both enjoy creating music to express ourselves. Growing up, we both felt like we didn't fit in. We met in 2019 and noticed we both had a lot in common so we started writing songs. We learned a lot from each other and continue to grow.

We came up with the band name "No Fltr" because to us, it means to express oneself fully without restraint. When we write music, we're always saying "say what you feel" or in other words, don't hold back what you really mean. It's 2024! Don't be afraid to be yourself and be proud of that.

I’m a singer, songwriter, and one half of No Fltr. I was born in Brooklyn, New York. I didn’t know any American music till the 8th grade. My mom would burn Bollywood songs onto CD's when I was growing up, and her and I would sing along to the songs in the car. It's how I learned how to sing. P.S She can't sing too well, but don't tell her I told you that...😂 

I’m a huge weeb (anime fan). Two of my all time favorite anime are Steins Gate and Toradora. I have 5 cats at home. My favorite one is a calico named 'Elaichi'. I’ve been learning how to appreciate and find joy in the little things: I recently played 'Connect 4' again and it made me feel like a little kid. I started making music because it helped put into words what I was feeling.

Hunter

I'm a producer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter from northern New Jersey. I started playing guitar at the age of 5 and honed my craft within the music scene of New York City and New Jersey.

I enjoy running and watching movies. When David and I aren't working on No Fltr, I produce and write songs with local artists and I'm in a few bands. I listen to a lot music. Send new artist recs. Always on the lookout to hear cool music!
